↵In 2009, it was common to see the crowd at KU games razor thin after halftime. Fans left, by the thousand, at halftime.
↵That's not all. They also want to change the kickoff cheers.
↵↵↵The student fans have yelled a vulgar cheer from the movie “The Waterboy” in the past.
↵“Let’s greet every kickoff this fall with the most recognizable college chant in the world," Jake Laptad said. "We are asking all fans in Memorial Stadium to join us during kickoffs in chanting, ‘Rock Chalk Jayhawk, KU.’”

Normally I'd be against breaking tradition but this is KU football where there isn't a whole lot of tradition in recent years, particularly when your stadium is most known for fans leaving at halftime.
