The Kansas City Royals and Chicago White Sox were rained out on Friday night so they had a doubleheader scheduled on Saturday night. The original game was scheduled at 6:10 p.m. and they couldn't play before it because FOX had a nationally broadcast game at the time.↵
So they played them back to back. With the stoppage in between games included, It was about a seven hour experience.↵
The game ended at 1:11 a.m.↵
As Bob Dutton of the KC Star points out, there is no curfew on these games. They could've kept playing.↵
I guess that's what you get with two extra inning games in one night.
