Mizzou LB Will Ebner was arrested last weekend on DWI charges. The question following an arrest is always: What kind of punishment will he get?
Gary Pinkel didn't say what Ebner's punishment will be and didn't indicate whether playing in game one will be an option, according to Dave Matter of the Columbia Tribune.
Pinkel wouldn't say if LB Ebner plays vs Illinois. Said answer will come in next week's roster/depth chart
Pinkel doesn't comment on these sorts of things anyway. We'll see if his name is on the game roster next week. In Mizzou's latest depth chart, Ebner was demoted to the third team.
