Kansas City Chiefs head coach Todd Haley said this week that against the Philadelphia Eagles the starters would play more than they did last week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They played the entire first half last week so presumably most would play into the third quarter on Friday night.
The Eagles starters are expected to play three quarters so it's possible the Chiefs do the same.
This would give them three complete quarters against an elite opponent to determine, with just a few weeks before the regular season, what needs to be tweaked and what doesn't.
Either way, it appears the Chiefs starters will be playing into the third quarter on Friday night against the Eagles starters.
