Mizzou head coach Gary Pinkel had the opportunity to address the Derrick Washington suspension but didn't take the opportunity.
Per KOMU in Columbia after Thursday's scrimmage:
According to Coach Pinkel after today's scrimmage... "No comment" about the Derrick Washington suspension.
He doesn't have to talk about it so he won't. The reason will likely get out at some point. He's a pretty big part of the offense so I'd be curious how long Pinkel would suspend him.
I imagine we'll find out at least part of Washington's status when the roster comes out next week for the Illinois game.
