Chiefs training camp continues with first night practice

The Chiefs have a practice on Wednesday morning closed to the public. Later on Wednesday, however, they hold their first night practice.

If you haven't been able to make it to St. Joe, this is a good opportunity since it won't be quite as hot in the evening.

Royals score one in the 9th, walk away with win

Alex Gordon hit a homerun and new Royal Greg Blanco knocked a run in for the Royals 3-2 win over the A's.

Tied 2-2 in the 9th, the Royals scored one to put it away.

Joakim Soria came in to close it out.

That's four of five games the Royals have won and of those four victories, three have been one-run games.

Mizzou basketball looking for big game at Sprint Center

According to Mike DeArmond, Mizzou hoops is working on a game the week after Thanksgiving against a high profile opponent.

Dave Reiter, a spokesman for the MU basketball team, would not name the possible opponent, but acknowledged: “If they can find the right fit, it is something Missouri is very interested in doing. We’re looking for a premium game in Kansas City."

Also the week after Thanksgiving: KU and MU at Arrowhead.
