Mizzou doesn't even have a deal in place with a mystery basketball opponent but they're already trying to hype it up.
↵Team spokesman Dave Reiter tells Mike DeArmond of the Kansas City Star that Mizzou is in the process of negotiating with a high profile opponent for a post-Thanksgiving game at Sprint Center in Kansas City.
↵↵↵Dave Reiter, a spokesman for the MU basketball team, would not name the possible opponent, but acknowledged: “If they can find the right fit, it is something Missouri is very interested in doing. We’re looking for a premium game in Kansas City."

I hope it's a high-profile opponent. Nothing more than the team hyping something like this up only for it to be a disappointment.
↵Also coming the week after Thanksgiving: KU and MU at Arrowhead. Good be a good week for college sports.
