Kila Ka'aihue Goes 1-For-4, Royals Lose 4-3

The story of the day for the Royals was Kila Ka'aihue who started at first base for the first time since being called up last week.

He managed one hit in four at-bats (and a strikeout) as the Royals lost to the A's 4-3.

The Royals jumped out to a 2-0 lead early in the game via a Billy Butler sac fly that scored Chris Gets and a Jose Guillen fielder's choice that scored Mike Aviles.

The Royals gave up four runs in the sixth with a pair of errors and some simple mistakes.

Their one run in the eighth wasn't enough.
