Royals Score One In The Ninth, Beat A's 3-2

The Royals good fortunes continue.

Gregor Blanco grounded into a fielder's choice scoring Alex Gordon in the top of the ninth. It was Gordon's second run scored after a 419 foot solo shot in the second inning.

The run put the Royals on top of the A's 3-2 until Joakim Soria could come in to seal the deal.

Royals Review's thoughts:

That game was ugly for everyone involved.  Even though the score was low, Davies didn't have his best stuff, but he was able to get out of a few jams.   The bullpen did great.  I can't believe there was only 3 errors.

The Royals have won four of their last five by a combined five runs so they're getting used to these close ones.

The other Royals run came from a Chris Getz grounder that knocked in Blanco, who was just traded to the Royals last weekend.
