Here's your daily dose of Kansas City sports news...
Chiefs change practice times because of heat
The Chiefs have a few two-a-days remaining in training camp. They've been having the first one at 8:50 a.m. and the second at 4:30 p.m.
Due to the heat, the Chiefs are moving that second one back to 6:00 p.m.
It's curious timing because in Sunday's paper Kent Babb wrote a story about the Chiefs, the heat in St. Joe and Korey Stringer, the Vikings tackle who died from heat stroke.
Maybe Todd Haley does read the paper.

Royals continue west coast trip
The Royals have already played three-game sets against Oakland and Seattle. Now they move onto Los Angeles to complete their nine-game west coast road trip and return for a 10-game home stand.
The Angels will see Sean O'Sullivan, Bryan Bullington and Zack Greinke.
Brian Bannister was moved to the bullpen this week to work on some mechanics.

Jayhawk fans taking a look at the confidence poll
As you know, we've been running confidence polls here here to gauge the confidence of the local fan bases.
SB Nation's Rock Chalk Talk took a closer look at those polls.
The basketball team has possibly the best recruit in the nation committed (not worried about the recent news). Bill Self is still the coach. An argument could be made that the 2010-2011 Jayhawks will be more talented than last year's team. So shouldn't things be pretty rosy around here?
They broke it down by team so see who has reason to be confidence. Check it out.

Crowd comes out for MU football fan day
On Saturday the Chiefs held a scrimmage along with Family Fun Day. Mizzou did the same this weekend inviting fans out for more access to players like Blaine Gabbert.
Here's a great set of photos from the day.
