The Kansas Jayhawks have had a mini quarterback controversy over the last few weeks. Turner Gill named Kale Pick the starter for game one against North Dakota State and, well, you know what happened there. For game two, he sent out Jordan Webb.
I'm not sure how Gill didn't pick Webb in the first place but he had an awesome day.
He was 18/29 for 179 yards and a three touchdowns from 2, 15 and 32 yards. He has one interception attributed to him but anyone watching the game knows it popped off the receivers hands and it wasn't the fault of the quarterback.
Pick was rotated in shortly running three times for 12 yards and one attempted pass.
I think this ends the quarterback controversy in Lawrence for a while.
