The Kansas City Chiefs are operating on a short week after Monday night's victory against the San Diego Chargers. Looking at the Cleveland Browns, the Chiefs will be a little behind.
Chiefs coach Todd Haley says he's had a Monday Night Football game before so he knows how it goes with the short week.
"The schedule can be a true obstacle for us," he said on Thursday afternoon.
Indeed it can.
The good part of this: Many of the Chiefs are already familiar with the Browns. The two teams played last year when Browns RB Jerome Harrison lit up the Chiefs for over 250 yards rushing. It was the game Glenn Dorsey missed, and it was late in the season, so I suspect the Chiefs front seven will have a different mindset this time around.
