The Kansas City Chiefs created the first turnover of the game on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns. It was a forced fumble by Chiefs LB Mike Vrabel.
But was it really a fumble?
Here's what I saw: The Browns running back had possession coughed up the ball when his body hit the ground and, as they say, the ground can't cause a fumble.
However, the officials originally called it a fumble. When Eric Mangini and the Browns challenged the ruling, the officials didn't come up with enough conclusive evidence that it wasn't a fumble.
I think the Chiefs got away with one there.
