The Chiefs are 2-0 for the first time since 2005.

About two-thirds of teams that start 2-0, make the playoffs. That would suggest that, no, it's not too early to be talking playoffs in Kansas City.

The Chiefs still have plenty of flaws -- using Jamaal Charles most efficiently, giving up big plays and perhaps the biggest flaw, the quarterback.

That said, they're still winning games. It doesn't matter in the NFL if they're pretty or not -- and they most definitely are not in Kansas City -- but the Chiefs are getting it done.

There are plenty of things going right: The defense as a whole, special teams and an uncanny knack for coming up with non-offensive touchdowns.

As much as 2-0 does matter, it's not a ticket to the playoffs. The last time the Chiefs started 2-0, in 2005, they did not make the playoffs.
