The Kansas City Chiefs saw their next opponent, the San Francisco 49ers, lose to the New Orleans Saints, 25-22, on Monday Night Football.
↵Here's what the Chiefs saw in the game:
↵QB Alex Smith threw a couple of picks (one of them a tip) but also completed 23 of 32 passes for 275 yards and a touchdown. He led the 49ers on the game-tying touchdown with 1:19 left in the game. Overall, Smith looked like someone who could hurt the Chiefs. He came through in several critical situations.
↵The 49ers defense also got after Drew Brees meaning Matt Cassel can probably expect some pressure.
↵Overall, the 49ers looked like a solid team that will be tough to beat. They're 0-2 and the Chiefs are 2-0. It's in Arrowhead Stadium. So there are plenty of reasons to think the Chiefs can win as well.
