It's very possible we're seeing end of Larry Johnson in the NFL.
↵According to Howard Balzer of the St. Louis Globe and Democrat, the Washington Redskins have released LJ after he rushed five times for two yards in the Redskins first two games of the 2010 season.
↵Fortunately or unfortunately, LJ will always have a connection to the Kansas City Chiefs. It was those 2005 and 2006 seaons rushing for 1,700 yards where he made a name for himself.
↵LJ's career is one of the dangers behind paying running backs in the NFL lots of money. History says they just won't last that long.
↵Other than LJ's 2005 and 2006 seasons, he didn't do much of anything in the NFL.
↵At this point, it's very possible LJ's career is over. He clearly isn't effective running the ball and he doesn't play special teams (the Redskins replaced him with a running back that can play special teams).
