Joakim Soria, Billy Butler Keep Kansas City Royals Streaks Alive

Two Kansas City Royals players have impressive streaks going. One of them means a lot (Joakim Soria) and the other does not (Billy Butler).

↵

Soria: 33 consecutive saves, which is the second longest streak in the last 10 years.

↵

Butler: 100 straight series' with a hit.

Soria's is the one that's really interesting here. Butler's is just fluky and doesn't mean much. Mariano Rivera had a 36-game streak last year so that's the next benchmark for Soria. The record for Butler is 241 so he has quite a few series' to go.
