The KC Star had an interesting statistic regarding the distribution of the ball in Mizzou's spread offense. As the stats suggestion, not everyone is getting involved.
↵T.J. Moe and Michael Egnew have caught 63 of Mizzou's 94 completions.
↵Here's how that compares to the high point of the Gary Pinkel era:
↵↵↵In 2008, Jeremy Maclin had 102 receptions, Chase Coffman 90 and Tommy Saunders 72. In 2007, quarterback Chase Daniel completed 84 passes to Martin Rucker, 80 to Maclin, 52 to Coffman, 49 to Will Franklin, 41 to Saunders and 37 to Alexander.

I'm not sure that it's mattered a whole lot. Sure the '07 and '08 offenses were probably better but the '10 is still 3-0. Check out the full story but the players are saying it's not a big deal. I think it would be natural for any receiver to want the ball thrown his way more.
