Big 12 Conference Play: Kansas Enters Baylor Game As 9-Point Underdogs

The Kansas Jayhawks are coming off of a big 42-16 victory over New Mexico State. Of course, NMSU is not very good so KU isn't getting a lot of credit dominating them (because that's what they should do).

KU's next opponent, Baylor, isn't quite the walk-over.

Oddsmakers have placed KU as nine-point underdogs on Saturday against Baylor.

An easy way to eliminate that line would be to stop Robert Griffin III, Baylor's do-it-all quarterback. Here's what SB Nation's Rock Chalk Talk said about Griffin:

That leaves this year as the chance for Griffin to explode, and he has. 971 yards passing, 4.4 yards a carry and 11 of the team's 12 offensive touchdowns in the Bears' first 4 games. He could be the most electrifying player in the Big 12, and he is the focal point and then some of the Baylor Bears' offensive attack.
