The Kansas City Chiefs season opener against the San Diego Chargers on Monday Night Football will be sold out so no one has to worry about watching that game.
↵But it's the other seven home games on the schedule that the fans may have to worry about
↵Sean Leahy of USA Today recently looked at the blackouts across the NFL and tabbed the Chiefs as a team in danger of blackouts.
↵That's definitely the case as the Chiefs will have a weekly blackout watch if they're not winning. That's the way it was last year as well when one game was blacked out.
↵There are reports that the teams can buy the remaining tickets at 34 cents on the dollar in order for the game to be televised. Though there's no evidence of the Chiefs doing that, their first two preseason games at home had less than 40,000 in actual attendance each game. The Chiefs announced the paid attendance in the low 60,000s.
↵The Chiefs have been able to get the first two home games on TV and they'll get the third with Monday Night Football. It's every game after that they'll have to worry about.
