Super Bowl Bound: Steelers Defeat Jets; Packers Top Bears

The 2011 Super Bowl in Dallas, Texas at Cowboys Stadium will feature Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh Steelers against Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers after the Steelers defeated the New York Jets in the AFC Championship game and the Packers outlasted the Chicago Bears in the NFC Championship game.

The Steelers defeated the Jets, 24-19, after jumping out to a 24-0 lead in the first half. When the Jets looked dead, they came back in the second half to score 19 unanswered points and held the ball with a few minutes remaining in the game with a chance to win. In the end, the Steelers defense was too tough and Mark Sanchez and Co. couldn't get past them.

The Packers defeated the Bears, 21-14, after jumping out to a 14-0 lead early in the game. The Bears QB situation was a mess as QB Jay Cutler left the game with a knee injury only to be replaced by QB Todd Collins, who also left the game with an injury. That lead to the third QB, Caleb Hanie, who was actually the most productive out of all three.

That brings us to a Steelers vs. Packers Super Bowl on Feb. 6. Green Bay is the early favorite even though the Steelers have the experience as they enter their eighth Super Bowl appearance. QB Ben Roethlisberger has a chance to win his third Super Bowl while QB Aaron Rodgers looks to win his first.
