Jacob Pullen Scores 24 Points In Return To Kansas State Lineup

Jacob Pullen was suspended for three games for receiving impermissible benefits and made his return to the Kansas State Wildcats lineup on Monday night in a 92-61 victory over Savannah State. Pullen scored 24 points and had five assists in the victory. His teammate, Curtis Kelly, was also suspended but received a six-game ban so he's still out.

Kansas State had a balanced attack in the 31-point victory. Rodney McGruder put up 15 points while Wally Judge added 13 points and 14 boards. Jamar Samuels also had 11 points.

Savannah State falls to 0-12 in true road games this year.

Kansas State allowed Savannah State to hang around until about halfway through the first half when they went on a 16-5 run pulling away. The Wildcats controlled the game from there as they held an 11-point lead with 15 minutes left in the game before going on another big 18-5 run.

Kansas State now enters conference play as they travel to Oklahoma State this weekend. After the following game against Colorado the Wildcats will see the return of Curtis Kelly.
