In our effort to stay on top of celebrity gossip and cover the side of the NFL that your wives will care about (not to be sexist), it was recently announced that Matt Cassel’s wife is pregnant and that she’s due in December. We only note this so that we know why Cassel is either elated and throwing with an inspired arm or why he seems tired and distracted and fails to lead them to the playoffs. Either way, in other words, we’re prepped to say it’s the baby’s fault.
