World Series 2011: St. Louis Cardinals Line-Up Moves Allen Craig To No. 2

We’ve already previewed the Texas Rangers starting line-up for tonight and now it’s time to look at the St. Louis Cardinals as both teams prepare for Game 3 of the 2011 World Series. Certainly the Cardinals hope their offensive power comes back after a lackluster approach last game and a team as loaded down the heart of the order as the Cardinals has to feel about their chances to bounce back.

The changes tonight include putting Ryan Theriot in at second base and also moving Allen Craig to the No. 2 spot in the line-up.

Kyle Lohse gets the start for the Cardinals and he impressed this year, going 14-8 with a 3.39 ERA. His numbers are almost identical on the season to Matt Harrison, the starter for the Rangers, so this should be a very interesting evening to say the least.

Here’s tonight’s official batting line-up for the Cardinals:
1. Rafael Furcal
2. Allen Craig
3. Albert Pujols
4. Matt Holliday
5. Lance Berkman
6. David Freese
7. Yadier Molina
8. John Jay
9. Ryan Theriot
