The Chiefs grabbed six interceptions last week against the Oakland Raiders. Apparently that’s enough to get the defensive spotlight pointed at your team. And the player who grabbed two of those and even struggled with a minor injury during the game is the one who receives the AFC Defensive Player of the Week. Flowers returned one of the two INTs for a touchdown and helped shut down any momentum the Raiders were hoping to get out of new QB addition Carson Palmer. All in all, a great day for the Chiefs and a deserved honor for Flowers.
