After struggling to close out games versus Arkansas and Oklahoma State earlier in the season, the Texas A&M Aggies have been able to "close the show" in impressive wins over Texas Tech, Baylor and Iowa State. Now sitting at 5-2 and a No. 16 national ranking, the Aggies welcome the Missouri Tigers into Kyle Field who are licking their wounds after a 45-24 defeat from the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
The Aggies are wounded too, as injuries have ravaged the defensive side of the ball.
"We don't make a big deal about injuries, I kind of treat it like in the NFL. The next guy has to be ready to play and you hope he is," Sherman said. "I was pleased with the guys who were asked to step up and respond to the challenge."
Stud tailback Henry Josey rushed for 138 yards versus Oklahoma State to push his Big 12-leading total of 855 over seven games this season.
