Entering Week 8, there are 22 teams with a .500 record or better. That’s the most through the first seven weeks in NFL history. The Kansas City Chiefs are among those after gutting out three straight wins, including a shutout last week against Oakland. In short, there are more very bad teams than ever before which allow several teams to share the wins against them. The AFC West, for instance, has three teams at .500 or better with only the Broncos failing to share in the game. It’s definitely a point in the season where a lot of people still have post-season aspirations — more than any other season.
