Oklahoma-Texas TV Schedule: Sooners Hope To Establish Big 12 Dominance Over Longhorns

Today’s early game on yet another Saturday filled with college football match-ups is a Big 12 fan’s dream. The Oklahoma Sooners take on the Texas Longhorns in a top 10 duel between the No. 3 team in the nation (AP) against the No. 10 at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas. And it all goes down at 11am CT on ABC.

The Red River Rivalry will be the talk of the college football world today with such a potent contest and the bragging rights continue to go back and forth each year. The Sooners won last year, but Texas took the two years before that. Yet Oklahoma has been the dominant team through the last decade. It’s another reason that makes this game a must-watch each and every season.

While both teams come in with an undefeated record, the Sooners are the favorites by 11 points (Bodog) and are coming off of a 62-6 thrashing of Ball State last week. Texas also trounced Iowa State last week 37-14 and are also undefeated. It’s the 25th time the teams come into the Rivalry with spotless records.
