Technically, the press release says thatNickelback will be playing the halftime show during the Packers-Lions Thanksgiving Day showdown. Untechnically (if that's a word), it's clear that whoever makes such decisions for the NFL has really poor music tastes. The NFL is used to serving up disgusting options on the yummiest of days as exhibited by the constant use of the Detroit franchise year after year. However, in the one season that they're actually fun to watch, and in a game against the defending champions, the NFL somehow decides to take a auditory crap right in the middle. It might be important to note that this is for the United Way and all that garbage. I'm more concerned with having to adjust the volume a few weeks from now.
