Fozzy Whittaker Reportedly Injured For Texas Longhorns Against Missouri Tigers

Injury problems are nothing new for Texas Longhorns running back Fozzy Whittaker. Yet to lose him again would be a blow to a position for the Longhorns that has already seen its share of loss. The starting RB for today’s game against the Missouri Tigers has reportedly went down already in the first quarter of today’s game.

Mike DeArmond writes via Twitter,
“Fozzy Whitaker is down on the field for Texas after falling on run and it looks like a knee. Helped off field. Another RB injury for Texas.” Eric Blumberg also notes, “Texas RB Fozzy Whittaker is an NCAA track star. Injured his knee on the Longhorns first possession. Didn’t look good.”

On the season, Whittaker has 62 carries for 371 yards and 6 touchdowns.
