Texas Vs. Missouri Halftime Update: Tigers Lead The Longhorns 14-6

After Texas Longhorns' tailback Foswhitt Whittaker went down with a serious leg injury, along with the thin Longhorns secondary, running the ball has now become a serious issue for the boys from Austin.

However, for the Missouri Tigers, two rushing touchdowns in the second quarter have propelled Mizzou to a 14-3 lead at halftime. QB James Franklin was able to put the first touchdown on the board, as he scored from two yards out for a 7-3 advantage. Kendial Lawrence then scored from 27 yards out to put the Tigers up 14-3. While many of the headlines have been directed in Henry Josey's direction, Lawrence has played quite well in recent weeks.

Lawrence has rushed for 79 yards in the first half on just 8 carries. Josey has 27 yards on 7 carries.

The Longhorns did score on a 12-play, 78-yard drive early in the first quarter. The drive culminated into a 27-yard field goal by Justin Tucker.
