The Baylor Bears have lost four fumbles thus far in the first half versus the Kansas Jayhawks, ans Turner Gill's squad leads in Lawrence, Kansas 17-3 in Memorial Stadium.
Two touchdown drives from fumble recoveries by the Kansas defense helped push Kansas into a 14-point lead. Christian Matthews scored from two-yards out early in the second quarter gave KU a 10-0 lead, then James Sims also scored from two yards to push the lead to 17-0.
Baylor's Aaron Jones put in a 37-yard field goal at the end of the first half to close the gap to 17-3
Robert Griffin III only has 79 yards passing thus far, while the Kansas rushing attack has amassed 187 yards in the first half. Darrian Miller has 110 rushing yards.
