Henry Josey Injury Update: RB Reportedly Out For Season For Missouri Tigers

The early report coming back on Henry Josey’s knee injury is that it’s as serious as it looked into today’s game between the Missouri Tigers and the Texas Longhorns. Eric Blumberg is reporting that Josey’s season is finished via Twitter and, if that’s the case, there goes the Big 12’s leading rusher and Missouri’s best offensive player this season.

During the game, the Longhorns defense had stifled Josey for only 19 yards on 11 carries. If that’s his final total on the season, that gives Josey 145 carries for 1,168 yards and 9 touchdowns this season.

Everyone was instantly concerned with the injury when it happened in the third quarter and even Texas head coach Mack Brown came across the field to check on the running back. After being carted off, it’s clear it was serious. There’s no official word yet, so Blumberg’s report is likely just a hunch.
