BCS Projections: Kansas State Wildcats Remains On Edge At No. 15 For BCS Bowl Hopes

Kansas State is hanging tough with the rest of the list of national contenders, coming in at No. 15 on Samuel Chi’s latest list of BCS Projections for Week 12. That means that if they can win out, they’ll possibly head to a major bowl (meaning a major payout) and a possible coach of the year consideration for Bill Snyder.

It took four overtime sessions on Saturday, but K-State came out on top over the Texas A&M Aggies, who are leaving for the SEC, and the win took the Wildcats to 8-2 on the year. The Texas Longhorns and Iowa State Cyclones loom next for KSU and their chances of finishing with 10 wins. If they’re able to do so, they should be playing in a BCS Bowl.

Here’s the complete BCS Projections:
1. LSU
2. Oklahoma State
3. Alabama
4. Oregon
5. Oklahoma
6. Arkansas
7. Stanford
8. Clemson
9. Boise State
10. Virginia Tech
11. Houston
12. South Carolina
13. Georgia
14. Michigan State
