AP Top 25: Oregon, Oklahoma Move Up In College Football Rankings

The latest Associated Press poll is out and the LSU Tigers are firmly in place once again with every possible first place vote as they continue to move toward the national title game.

The latest Associated Press poll is out and the LSU Tigers are firmly in place once again with every possible first place vote as they continue to move toward the national title game. In second place, the Oklahoma State Cowboys are now firmly entrenched after beating Texas Tech 66-6 on Saturday. The top five are rounded out by Alabama, Oregon and Oklahoma.

Stanford and Boise State fell big this week after losing to Oregon and TCU respectively. That clears room for one loss teams like Oklahoma and Oregon to move even closer toward a big BCS Bowl and possibly even the title game depending on how the rest of the regular season plays out for LSU and OSU. The Sooners play OSU in two weeks, so anything is possible there.
