Kansas City Chiefs Will Remain On Sunday Night Football Against Pittsburgh Steelers

The flex scheduling that allows NBC to change its Sunday Night Football game is a strong asset for the network to choose a game to maximize fan interest across the board. That said, it’s not surprising that keeping the game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Kansas City Chiefs in that slot was questioned given the Chiefs performance this season. However, the NFL is now saying the game is going to remain in the same slot in week 12, giving the Chiefs yet another primetime performance in a season where they’ve been rather mediocre. Certainly the Steelers bring a national brand and that’s what is at stake here, but the Chiefs also were part of a very entertaining game against the Chargers on Monday Night Football just two weeks ago. Hopefully the Chiefs can keep it close and come away with an upset win.
