There's no doubting the creepiness factor of watching Bob Costas try and interview the former defensive coordinator for Penn State, Jerry Sandusky, last night on Rock Center. As Costas held true to one of the best journalistic displays I've seen in some time, Sandusky oddly answered several questions with pauses, redirects or simply restating the questions (that were very straightforward, by the way) in a manner that suggested he was trying to make up an answer. It was awkward. It was gross. It felt wrong.
By the way, even the idea that he would go on television for this interview seems incredible in the first place. Why would his lawyer allow him to do that? The entire video is worth watching, so check it out for yourself below:
