It seems like the same song for Turner Gill's Kansas Jayhawks football team. The offense sputters early, the defense gives up big plays and your down a ton of points after the first quarter.
Well, a ton of points in KU's game versus the Texas A&M equals 23 for the Aggies. None for the Jayhawks.
Two big touchdown runs by Cyrus Gray were the biggest plays given up by the Jayhawks defense, as touchdown runs of 30 and 36 yards helped light up the Kyle Field scoreboard in College Station. Gray has 77 yards rushing on just five carries thus far.
Ryan Tannehill also connected with Ryan Swope for a 26 yard touchdown late in the first quarter, his 24th of the season.
Kansas has not only struggled, but they've been bumbling and stumbling. A monstrosity of a play resulted in a safety and made Turner Gill throw his hands up in the air.
