The Texas A&M Aggies took the Kansas Jayhawks behind the woodhsed as the 61-7 final score is not indicative of the bruising that Kansas truly received in Kyle Field on Saturday.
A&M outgained KU 469-197 in total yardage, A&M forced 3 turnovers to KU's 1 and the score was 44-0 at halftime. Ryan Tannehill threw for 280 yards and three touchdowns and Cyrus Gray ran for 94 yards and three touchdowns before leaving the game with a shoulder injury. Texas A&M is now 6-5 on the season, making them bowl-eligible.
The question of if Kansas will retain the services of Turner Gill is already being printed on front pages all across the state of Kansas, but the bigger question has to be, "when will someone put Turner Gill out of his misery?" Can't this end now? The offense is highly inconsistent, the defense is arguably the worst in college football and the fan base is already thinking about basketball.
Its been a long fall in Lawrence, its about to be over real soon. KU finishes their season against Missouri in Arrowhead Stadium.
