For anyone who still has even a slight amount of doubt that the SEC is the most dominant conference in all of college football, just take a quick look at the latest college football rankings from the National Football Post. The reason? The top three teams in the country all come from the Southeastern Conference. Maybe that's why Big 12 members like Texas A&M and Missouri are ultimately heading to the SEC in hopes of sharing in that future glory.
LSU, Alabama and Arkansas are listed as the top three teams in the country, which means that the upcoming LSU-Arkansas match-up is going to be nearly as hyped as the LSU-Alabama contest from several weeks ago. If LSU can make it through that, there should be no doubt that they are far and away the best team in the country.
