The Missouri Tigers have started out well, albeit against less than impressive opponents, but they’re 3-0 in the early going under new head coach Frank Haith and the Mizzoou’s men’s basketball team has to be feeling good about tonight’s match-up against their fellow 3-0 Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
The Missouri schedule is a bit easy heading into conference play with some decent games against Villanova and Illinois as well as the tournament they start tonight that also features Cal and Georgia. That said, Haith should be able to string something good together before facing the Big 12 schedule, so expect Mizzou to climb a bit higher than this as the season wears on.
Thus far, it’s a very promising start for Haith and he’s unloading his scorers like Marcus Denom and Kim English in style thus far. The Big 12 awaits, but Missouri looks to be as potent as they did in seasons past.
