ESPN NFL Power Rankings: Kansas City Chiefs Fall After Getting Blown Out By Patriots

The Kansas City Chiefs fell from No. 21 in last weeks' rankings to No. 22 this week in the newest ESPN Power Rankings poll.

The Chiefs are fresh-off a 34-3 drubbing at the hands of Tom Brady and the New England Patriots on Monday night. It wasn't the debut that Chiefs quarterback, Tyler Palko may have been looking for in his first NFL start, but it was about what most fans would have expected. Two of the three interceptions that Palko was charged with on the night were tipped off receivers hands and despite being poor throws, they still could have been caught had the receivers made a good play on the ball.

But Palko and the Chiefs don't have time to worry about this loss as they stare down another prime-time game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night football coming up this week. It's a short week and the Chiefs have a lot to work on if they're going to be competitive for the rest of the season.

The rest of the AFC West has the Oakland Raiders coming in at No. 14 this week, while the San Diego Chargers sit at No. 21, and the Denver Broncos rise to No. 17.
