The San Diego Chargers have had their fair share of injury issues on offense this year, losing Ryan Mathews, Mike Tolbert, Marcus McNeill and others to injury for weeks on end. They will now be forced to add Malcopm Floyd, one of the team’s dynamic wide receivers, to that list as well, Michael Gehlken reports that Floyd is out for a while and head coach Norv Turner hopes it’s “not an IR situation.” So far in 2011, Floyd has 19 catches for 401 yards and 1 touchdown. He leads the NFL with a ridiculous 21.1 yards per catch.
