NFL Picks, Week 12: Sporting News Predicts Steelers Blowout Over Chiefs

Vinnie Iyer over at the Sporting News is the latest sportswriter to weigh in with his prediction for tonight's game and it looks the same as everyone else -- heavily weighted toward the Pittsburgh Steelers over the Kansas City Chiefs. Iyer has the Steelers winning 34-10 and says Palko might be better, but it won't be enough.

"The Chiefs are shellshocked after their loss to the Patriots on Monday night. They will have a much better chance with former Pitt Panther Tyler Palko starting at home on Sunday night, but they’re coming off a short week while the Steelers had the fortune of a much-needed bye. The biggest problem will be limiting Ben Roethlisberger and Pittsburgh’s passing game. If the Chiefs focus on taking away the deep ball to Mike Wallace and Antonio Brown, the Steelers will simply counter with plenty of tight end Heath Miller on shorter routes. On the other side of the ball, Palko will have a tough time against the schemes and talent of Dick LeBeau’s defense."
