ESPN NFL Power Rankings: Kansas City Chiefs Move Up, Despite Loss

The Kansas City Chiefs have moved up one spot in the latest ESPN Power Rankings from No. 22 last week, climbing to No. 21 this week. They move up despite their 13-9 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night.

The Chiefs dropped to 4-7 on the season and their already-fading playoff chances have taken another hit. It would take a movie-making script for the Chiefs to come back and make the playoffs at this point. With the Bears, Jets and Packers on the horizon for the Chiefs, the sun has all but set on their chance at defending their AFC West title from a year ago.

The Raiders jumped four spots this week from No. 14 to No. 10, while the Broncos sit at No. 16 and the Chargers come in at No. 22 in this weeks' rankings. San Diego heads to Jacksonville this week for Monday night football while the Chiefs head to Chicago to take on the Bears, Oakland heads to Miami and Denver travels to Minnesota.
