Missouri Vs. Baylor Odds: Tigers Are Slight Road Underdogs

In a match-up between two teams at the bottom of the Big 12 bowl picture, the Missouri Tigers will travel to Waco to play the Baylor Bears as +3 underdogs

The line opened at +1.5, but bettors have been favoring Baylor, despite Missouri's dramatic second-half comeback at Texas A&M last weekend.

James Franklin, the Tigers' starting sophomore QB, rebounded from a four-turnover performance against Oklahoma State to score four TD's against the Aggies, two on the ground and two through the air. Sophomore RB Henry Josey complemented him on offense, with 20 carries for 146 yards and 1 TD.

Both Franklin and Josey are Texas natives, a product of Gary Pinkel's emphasis on making recruiting inroads in the talent-rich state, and both will be looking for another big game in their home state.

Opposing them will be Baylor's own high-powered offense, which features star QB Robert Griffin III, who has completed passes at a 75.4% clip while throwing 23 TD's to only 4 INT's this season.

However, both teams have below .500 records in the Big 12, primarily because of defenses that have not been able to keep up with pass-heavy spread offenses that have come to define the conference. As a result, the over/under for this game, which could easily last four hours, is 73 points.

A win on Saturday would be huge for both teams' post-season chances, as each is sitting at four wins and facing a tough conference schedule to close out the year.
