The latest word from Ken Berg of CBS Sports is that Roger Mason is confirming that the NBA Players Association is ready to begin talks again with league officials as soon as this weekend, so perhaps the season is going to be salvaged after all. After getting close, word of a fractured players union leaked and drama ensued. Now with word coming out that they’re talking again, it’s possible that regular season games could begin as soon as December, although anything in either direction is too soon to declare.
