For the first time all season, the Kansas Jayhawks defense wasn't the butt of a weekly joke. Instead, the Jayhawks actually showed up against Iowa State and played a great game against the Cyclones. Unfortunately, the team still lost and left the Jayhawks winless in Big 12 conference play. This week's game failed to add much in the way of meaningful stats. James Sims ran for another 50 yards. Darrian Miller had 70 rushing yards. D.J. Beshears had a nice 22 yard touchdown run. But the season stats pale in comparison to other teams in the Big 12, let alone the nation.
