Thunder Vs. Grizzlies: Thunder Defeats Grizzlies 98-95 In Memphis

In a rematch of last year's conference semifinals, the Oklahoma City Thunder managed to stay unbeaten so far in a very young 2011-2012 NBA season as they took down the Grizzlies by a score of 98-95 in a close game in Memphis Wednesday night. The Thunder moves to 3-0 on the year while the Grizzlies fall to 0-2.

Oklahoma City was led by forward Kevin Durant, who scored 32 points against the Grizzlies. He has yet to score less than 30 points so far this season. He was followed by guard James Harden, who came off the bench to score 20 points. Harden, Durant and Kendrick Perkins were the only Thunder players to have double digit points.

The Grizzlies scoring was much more evened out between a few players. They were led by forward Zach Randolph, who scored 24 points, and Rudy Gay, who scored 19. Center Marc Gasol also scored 16 and guard Jeremy Pargo, who filled in for Mike Conley when he left the game early with an ankle injury, scored 15.

The Thunder take on the 0-2 Dallas Mavericks at home on Thursday night and the Grizzlies face the Houston Rockets at home on Friday night.
