Chiefs Injury Report, Week 17: Kansas City's Bill Of Health Remains Clean

Few teams in the NFL have injury reports as near-spotless as the Kansas City Chiefs have had in the latter half of the 2011 NFL season. The run-up to the Chiefs' Week 17 game against the Denver Broncos, in which Kansas City can play spoiler and prevent Tim Tebow from heading to the playoffs, is no different.

Only three Chiefs show up on the Week 17 injury report, and one of them, Jon McGraw, has practically lived on it for much of the season. The other two, Jackie Battle and Jeremy Horne, have very different issues: Battle is out with a foot injury, while Horne has merely missed practice with illness, and is probable to play on Sunday.

The caveat about the Chiefs' injuries, as ever: putting players like Eric Berry, Jamaal Charles, and Matt Cassel on injured reserve instead of letting them languish on the injury report is a good way to clean things up.

Here's the Chiefs injury report for Week 17:

OUT: RB Jackie Battle (foot).

DOUBTFUL: S Jon McGraw (groin).

QUESTIONABLE: none.

PROBABLE: WR Jeremy Horne (illness).
